- Assist with inventory management; oversee proper deliveries, ensuring storage locations are neat and tidy at all times as part of the inventory process, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to address customer complaints or issues, and resolve matters as expediently as possible
- Oversee food and beverage storage dining areas, ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with safety regulation and health codes
- Lead and execute weddings, conferences and signature events; ensure that no detail is missed and the event is delivered flawlessly
- Daily billing and financial responsibilities to be completed accurately and efficiently
- Preparation of monthly forecasting and reports and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring the budget to maximize revenues.
- Participate in the budgeting process – develop, implement and manage the budget, forecast, inventory and operating cost for the various outlets to maximize revenue and manage expenses
- 2 years' in a hotel or restaurant industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory position
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management, POS-Simphony)
- Proven creativity and inspiring food and beverages trends and best practices
- Proven ability to run multiple-outlets and experience operating multiple systems, training, and staff development operations
- Expertise in building relationships and working on teams across all levels of an organization, particularly with operating, line supervisors, seasonal staff from a broad range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of Simphony or similar P.O.S. system is an asset
- Ideal candidate would have strong experience across a broad range of food and beverage activities, meetings/events and functions
