Westerner Park is seeking an Food & Beverage Services Administrative AssistantSummer Student to join our team as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program! Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Providing administrative support to the Food & Beverage department as requested i.e., labeling, filing, laminating, paper trimming, creating excel sheets, preparing training manuals, and organizing documents.
• Complete and review Food & Beverage event document, assist with revisions to the Food & Beverage Services training programs.
• Review and prepare all documents, reports and other correspondence materials
• Coordinate departmental activities.
• Assist with supporting at event time and helping to ensure successful event execution.
• Take and transcribe dictation notes and meeting minutes.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
• Assist with report and presentation preparation.

Is this you? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Attending a business related post secondary program, or a recent graduate, preferably with an Food & Beverage or Hospitality focus, is an asset
• Food & Beverage experience is an asset
• Experience using the Microsoft Office 365 suite
• A pleasant, positive, and courteous attitude
• Must qualify for the Canada Summer Jobs Program

Rate of Pay: $18.00 Per Hour
Affiliation: Member of the Westerner Employee’s Association
Anticipated Start Date: TBD Pending funding and approval from Canada Summer Jobs
