Location: Toronto, Ontario
Status: Full-Time
Salary: $16.55 per hour
This is a fast-paced hospitality venue and we are seeking someone who learns quickly, independently and can provide a great customer experience. Our ideal candidates are enthusiastic individuals that possess elevated hospitality experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome each guest with a smile and friendly greeting
- Help customers with orders by explaining dishes and drinks and making recommendations as appropriate
- Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests
- Refill water and periodically check on guests to handle any issues promptly
- Maintain our high food safety and sanitation standards
- Keep working area clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing storage areas, and emptying the garbage
- Clean and reset tables
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Food Runner is highly preferred
- Smart Serve required
- Able to learn menu offerings quickly and relay all information
- Great verbal and written communication capabilities
- Able to work quickly and adapt on the go
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to lift and carry up to 20KG and walk/stand for nearly the whole shift
- Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business dictates
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.55 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON M5V 1M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Food & Beverage Support Staff: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Smart Serve Certification? (preferred)
