We are currently on the lookout for a new addition to our team. If you are interested in the automotive field and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment this may be the job for you!

Our Cornwall, ON distribution center supplies automotive parts and accessories to stores across Ontario and Quebec. The Forklift Driver role is critical in supporting these essential businesses as they are responsible for transferring all incoming and outgoing product between each warehouse department.

A successful candidate has excellent organization and time management skills, is self-motivated, enthusiastic, has a strong work ethic, and will also have:

• Previous forklift experience (considered an asset but not required)
• Valid forklift certification considered an asset but not required.
• Strong attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence and aptitude to work unsupervised and independently
• Experience working in a team-based environment
• Comfortable with performing heavy lifting

· Knowledge of automotive and/or truck parts and accessories (an asset)

Key Responsibilities

• Will be required to operate forklift and/or other lifting or towing devices.
• Assist the receiving and packing departments with processing all incoming/outgoing stock orders accurately and expediently
• Pack product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling, etc…)
• Work closely with management to learn and to develop the best practices and procedures
• Load finished product onto trucks for delivery
• Put away and or accurately pull parts for work orders and inspect all parts stocked and pulled.
• Follow daily inventory control procedures and participate in inventory counts when needed.
• Participate in quality control by properly cleaning,
• Identifying and inspecting component parts prior to putting them into inventory, or prior to shipping
• Other duties as assigned.
