Job Summary:
Grande Cache Inn & Suites is seeking an experienced Front Desk Agent. As a team our goal is to create an unforgettable, picture- perfect experience for our guests. As a member of the Front Office team, you wear many hats, from a reservations specialist to an activities coordinator.
This is a part-time role, with both weekday, weekend, day, and evening shifts. We anticipate it being 24-40 hours per week, depending on occupancy levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Check in and Departure of hotel guests;
- Answer the hotel phone, both internal and external calls;
- Be an expert on local and onsite services and be able to provide information about them;
- Use accurate accounting and cash handling procedures;
- Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests;
- Communicate effectively with all other departments within the hotel;
- Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations, and room assignments;
- Manage reservations made by phone, email and through OTA's;
- Represent the culture of INNHotels and build repeat guests;
- Perform other related duties as required by the Front Office Manager;
Qualifications:

- A passion for customer service and a strong attention to detail;

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment;
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Friendly and pleasant demeanor, courteous, self-motivated, and professional;
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to work different shift hours, and stand for an entire shift;
- Good PC skills; knowledge of Webrez Pro is preferred, but not a must;
- Previous Front Desk and/or Customer Service experience is preferred;
- Relevant education and experience in a hospitality or tourism setting.
