Wendel's Bookstore & Café is located in historic Fort Langley since 1997. We are a high volume café serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, handmade baked goods and a full espresso bar. We pride ourselves on high quality food and drinks and great customer service.
We are seeking an experienced manager with experience in the hospitably food service industry, who has a passion for great customer service, strong leadership skills and an outgoing and positive personality. We work in a fast pace team environment with a focus on great customer service and high quality food and drinks.
The responsibilities for this position include:
· customer relations and ensuring excellent customer service
· supervision of our Front of house staff including scheduling and hiring
· overseeing and ensuring all staff are trained to outlined procedures
· ensuring day to day operation standards are maintained
· working alongside our front end staff on the espresso bar, entering in customer orders and expediting
· ordering of front end products as well as managing monthly inventory
· Our earliest shift starts at 7:00 am and the last shift ends at 11:00 pm daily.
Pay rate/benefits:
We offer competitive industry wages, tip pool with an equal split between all staff with an average of $3.00-$5.00 per hour worked, medical/dental benefits, paid breaks and job security with guaranteed hours.
