Full Time Greeter

Adecco is currently seeking dynamic and customer-focused individuals for Greeter positions, located in Vancouver, BC. Full time positions are available, with a competitive salary of $22.50 per hour. As a Greeter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of applicants through the Mission/Visa Pavilion, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the application process.

• Pay rate: $22.50/hour.

• Location: Vancouver, BC

• Shifts: Monday-Friday | Hours within 7:00am-3:30pm

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Detailed Job Description:

• Screen applicants and facilitate efficient queuing, entry, and movement through designated areas.

• Verify documentation completeness and order for interviews.

• Provide information to applicants and coordinate queues according to appointments.

• Ensure fair and courteous treatment, especially for those with limitations.

• Perform document sorting, packaging, and tracking for courier pick-up.

• Adhere to security rules, report fraud, and respond to crowd control emergencies.

• Receive and address applicant complaints and undergo necessary consular information service training.

• Work intermittently outdoors to welcome and assist applicants.

• Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Candidate's Profile:

• High school diploma

• Basic experience with computers, printers, and Android tablets

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Excellent communication skills in English; other languages considered an asset.

• Ability to work under pressure and in a changing environment.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Customer service oriented.

• Ability to work in a large team environment.

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
