Gas Plant Operator (3Rd Or 4Th Class Steam Ticket)

We're searching for up to 12 outstanding Gas Plant Operators to operate our newest facility in Albright, AB, situated near the communities of Beaverlodge and Wembley. The facility will serve the growing sour natural gas processing needs of multiple producers in the region and will enhance CSV’s existing platform of natural gas processing infrastructure in Alberta’s prolific Montney play.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of the following, but not limited to natural gas compression, refrigeration, Dehydration, Sulphur recovery, and Amine and condensate stabilization.

The core responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Reporting to the Gas Plant Shift Lead, the Gas Plant Operator will:

• perform routine operational equipment surveillance, equipment start-up’s and shutdowns
• perform process and equipment troubleshooting
• optimize processes for efficient operation
• manage trades/contractors during scheduled and unscheduled services and repairs
• operate the facility in a safe, economical and efficient manner
• perform housekeeping and maintenance activities
• manage facility production on a daily basis
• participate as a team member and provide mentorship to peers as required
• conduct all activities following Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
• uphold CSV’s values and place a focus on safety

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a 4th ClassSteam Ticket, a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a Gas Plant and a valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Experience:
