Job Description: Gas Plant Operator
Location: Fort St. John, BC
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour shifts
Overview: We are seeking dedicated and skilled Gas Plant Operators to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to safety, have a strong work ethic, and are enthusiastic about contributing to the efficient operation of our Gas Plant facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control plant equipment and processes related to gas treatment and processing.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Record and report operational data accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize plant performance.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Fourth Class Power Engineering certification would be an asset.
- Experience in a Gas Plant or related industrial environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 7 on / 7 off rotation.
