Job Description
· Knowledgeable of Opera PMS is preferred
· Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
· Knowledgeable of room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
· Ensure each guest receives a warm and welcoming reception at check-in/check-out
· Provide information about services available in the hotel and surrounding areas
· Process charges and payments to the appropriate accounts.
· Answer telephones, taking messages, directing calls and processing reservations
· Address customer inquiries and concerns
· Coordinate guest room maintenance work with the engineering and maintenance division.
· Use persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
· Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
· Manage and resolve all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
