Stack Brewing officially opened its doors to the Sudbury community in June of 2013. Since then, Stack has won several provincial and national awards from the Ontario Brewing Awards and the Canadian Brewing Awards. Our brewery has gone through many expansions to meet the high demand for quality craft beer in Northern Ontario and has recently started to distribute product throughout Ontario.

Responsibilities:
Maintain all brewery production documentation accurately and precisely
Managing hot and cold liquor availability
Brewhouse and fermentation vessel CIP, and a thorough understanding of the chemicals used
Preparation and pitching of yeast.
Product development and improvement
Training staff in brewery processes
Routine maintenance and maintenance scheduling
Proficient use of brewery management software
Procurement of applicable ingredients and consumables
Ensure quality via standard testing procedures.
Operating the brewhouse efficiently and safely while closely following specified guidelines
Cellaring duties including checking gravities, VDK testing, transfers, carbonation, and filtration where needed
Skills Needed to Succeed:
Leadership skills
Time/priority management
Detail-oriented
Penchant for cleanliness
Attention to quality.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Dedication to improve.
Demonstrated knowledge of the technical aspects of brewing beer
Experience:
Completion of secondary school.
Post-secondary education in Brewing Science, Microbiology or Chemistry will be considered an asset.
Several years of experience in the food or beverage processing industry will be considered an asset.
