Our ideal candidate would be a considerate, sympathetic and a fast-paced individual. This individual would be excited to invest in a new restaurant to create a welcoming and lively atmosphere that would be appreciated by both customers and staff. The goal of the 31 Charkay is to be among the top overall restaurants in Kelowna through caring & friendly service, a lively & fun atmosphere with exceptional food. Altogether creating a place where people feel spoiled and at comfortable.

Job Responsibilities

- Taking Guest Reservations

- Organizing Seating charts

- Accommodating guests as they wait to be seated

- Seating guests as tables become available

- Making sure that servers are aware of any food allergies or restrictions

- Letting servers know if their guests are celebrating a special occasion

- Assisting sections that may need help resetting, food running or overall customer care

- Assisting in cutlery polishing, napkin folding and overall front of house operations

- Basic understanding of food menu items, wine and drinks

- Other duties as assigned
