Host/Hostess

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Following all Crabby Joes Bar-Grill policies and procedures consistently

-Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome

-Ensuring Crabby Joes Bar-Grill guests are greeted and seated as per Crabby Joes Bar-Grill standard

- Providing outstanding guest experience
- Ability to manage a wait list effectively
- Outgoing, friendly, energetic

- Assist with answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Team player
- Sense of urgency
- General cleanliness and sanitation
- Legislative compliance

- Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Provide information about the restaurant, menu items, and daily specials
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Smart Serv License Certified – an asset (not required)
- All other duties as outlined in detailed job description

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems for seating assignments and managing reservations
- Phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service setting is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
