Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a smile
- Escort guests to their assigned tables
- Provide menus and assist with seating arrangements
- Take reservations and manage the waiting list
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests
- Assist with coordinating seating for large parties
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong hospitality mindset with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism
- Strong phone etiquette and the ability to handle guest inquiries effectively
