Host/Host
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests according to seating charts or guest preferences
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about restaurant services
- Manage waiting lists and notify guests when their table is ready
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong customer service and guest-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members
