Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Take reservations and manage the waiting list
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' needs and concerns
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
