The Manager, People Experience & Talent Services is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide support to the HR Services and People Experience & Talent Services teams in the implementation of the JDXpert job description software, along with administrative support of updating and maintaining job descriptions.
Please Note: This position offers a hybrid work environment consisting of in-office and remote work. The office location is 500 Church St in Penetanguishene, ON.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide support to the PET/HR services team in the development of an implementation plan for JDXpert at Waypoint.
- Liaison with JDXpert, and both external and internal stakeholders to support the successful implementation of the JDXpert system.
- Data entry of 300+ job specs into the JDXpert system along with administrative and training support to internal managers.
- Improve and maintain job spec workflows by ensuring legislative compliance, conducting external scans, monitoring outcomes, seeking feedback from stakeholders, recommending improvements and implementing changes as necessary.
- Assist the People Experience & Talent Services team as assigned with programs and systems in the PET portfolio.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in a related field such as Human Resources, Business, Health Care/Public Administration or Office Administration
- 1 year of working experience, preferably working with systems
- Advanced planning and organizing skills with the ability to clearly define a course of action for self and others to accomplish short and long-term goals
- Ability to proactively identify issues and work towards a solution
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information, and act with integrity
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to adapt readily to change
- Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values (Caring, Respect, Accountability, Innovation), and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude
- Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills
