Emergency preparedness is a critical aspect of CCH operations. It is essential that all staff and physicians receive training and understand their roles and responsibilities in this field.
Summary of responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Administrative Support Specialist is a key contributor to the HR Operations and entire CCH organization. Having an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy, the Administrative Support Specialist will maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS); process new hires, internal transfers and terminations. Data integrity will be maintained with HR systems through data audits and working closely with the management team. Using the HRIS and reporting tools, the Administrative Support Specialist will generate a variety of regularly occurring and ad hoc reports to support the management team, unions and government organizations.
The Administrative Support Specialist will also be the primary contact for the recruiting onboarding process; ensuring new hires experience a professional, smooth and positive onboarding experience. This includes maintaining a detailed new hires tracker spreadsheet, preparing job offers, processing reference checks and providing weekly updates to hiring managers.

- Minimum three-year college diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration

- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Demonstrated regular, punctual attendance
- Functional proficiency in English; oral and written
Assets:
- University undergraduate degree
- Functional level in oral and written French
- Previous experience in an administrative capacity, preferably in Human Resources recruiting and/or operations
- Previous experience preparing high-level reports, dashboards and scorecards
