Inside Sales Representative - PVF industry

Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Inside Sales Representative to work for a globally operating trading company specializing in fittings, pipe and tube applications in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining exceptional relationships with customers in this growing segment. • Shifts: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build strategies to achieve revenue generation and growth

• Develop and implement follow-up strategies for specific projects

• Respond to various forms of sales inquiries (phone, email, in-person)

• Revitalize and reengage existing dormant accounts

• Realize margin growth and grow revenue within the existing client base

• Gather market data to remain competitive and meet customers changing needs and demands

• Maintain up-to-date records of sales orders, purchase orders, and return orders accurately

• Source and purchase products to serve customer needs

• Identify, target, and acquire new customer accounts

Requirements and Qualifications: 

• Graduated from a business or equivalent program at a recognized post-secondary institution

• Experience in the industry segment selling to manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of various material groups: Cylinder tubes, Hydraulic lines, Solid bars, Hollo structural materials & Stainless

• Experience in the PVF industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (emphasis in Excel) and SAP Business One

• Proven previous sales experience

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Self-motivation – drive to exceed targets, willingness to learn and grow

• Innovative entrepreneurship mindset

• Ability to grasp and communicate the technical aspects of the company’s products

• Comfortable visiting clients as required

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
