Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Asset Management - Telecommunications position in Montreal, QC from May - August 2024.
Job Summary
The Intern, Asset Management - Telecommunications is responsible for assisting the Telecommunications Operations, which supports CN's Telecom in alignment with established service Level Agreements. The incumbent contributes to data analysis and mapping process flows while gaining exposure to process improvement activities. The position contributes to CN's Telecommunications documentation services by mapping these services in the Company's systems. The role collaborates with Data loads and sorting required associated data fields.
Major Responsibilities
- Record current process
- Compare process outcomes
- Manipulate databases, including assets and inventory management
- Make improvement recommendations
- Map new process flows
- Implement new process flow measurements
Requirements
- Applies analytical thinking
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Knowledge of Service Now and other ticket systems*
- Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework*
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Business Process Management
*Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
