Eckel Noise Control Technologies: Sales Specialist
Job Type: Sales Specialist, Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
Job Summary
Eckel Noise Control Technologies seeks an experienced, organized and motivated individual to fulfil our Sales position. In your role, you will prepare shipping information, contract and coordinate drivers and carriers, and update Eckel’s shipment tracking system. The selected candidate will be responsible for the logistical processing of customer orders by providing quotes, organizing pick-up and delivery schedules, answering inquiries from customers, and investigating complaints regarding services and policies.
In addition, the Eckel Inside Sales will administer a sales database/file system in support of sales activities and support the sales processes and administrative activities of senior sales representatives. You will receive inbound sales calls and emails from our customers. You will determine individual customer needs and help them become informed of Eckel products and services. Additionally, you will prepare quotes in response to inbound sales leads in support of Senior Sales Executive.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Arrange for shipping and delivery of Eckel products and systems to our valued customers and distributors
- Promote exemplary communication practices, proactively reporting status of shipment to Eckel, shippers and customers
- Receive inquires (calls and emails) from shippers and/or customers regarding shipment and address responses as per their needs
- Provide shipping options, availability, schedules
- Stay in touch with potential / current customers regarding their transportation requirements
- Learn about key features of Eckel Noise Control Technologies products & systems
- Receive and respond to inbound sales leads (telephone/email)
- Assist customers with their purchase process
- Determine customer needs, suggest applicable and relevant solutions
- Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and administrative quotas
- Prepare and submit sales proposals to management for review
- Provide sales proposals to clients
- Administer a sales database/file system
- Support the sales processes and administrative activities of senior sales representatives
- Administer Eckel’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) software system
- Assist other team members as required
- Other administrative duties as required
- Contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives through customer satisfaction
- Generate sales quotation
- Followup all sales leads
Qualifications & Skills
- Post-secondary or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Direct logistics and sales experience required
- Ability to describe Eckel products and services to the average consumer
- Tactful and courteous Client Relationship Management (CRM) skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced changing environment
- Excellent office or data administration skills (MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Quickbooks etc.)
