- Code, test, document and implement new system functionality.
- Participate in the design and implementation of databases.
- Take part in project meetings where you will have the opportunity to actively discuss and provide input and solutions to meet business challenges.
- Diagnose and resolve issues.
- Participate in peer reviews to understand coding standards.
- Work with team members to update and/or standardize system documentation.
- Provide support to existing applications and resolve production problems.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Math, or Engineering.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of Oracle, C#.net, ASP.Net, VB, PL/SQL, VSS, TFS, Crystal, Active reports, Business Objects, Tibco, ESRI, and/or VMWare is considered an asset.
- Previous experience documenting system functionality and technical processes (workflow diagrams) is also considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with demonstrated attention to detail.
- You have well developed technical and analytical skills.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2024.
- A security clearance will be conducted.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).
