Responsibilities:
- SDS generation
- Sample preparation , recording and interpreting data
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, including inventory management
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Packaging and sending of DG samples. (IATA experience preferred)
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry,, Petroleum tech or related discipline)
- Experience with laboratory techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and documentation
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
The Laboratory Technician role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting preparing laboratory samples, shipping samples to customers, SDS generation and maintaining the laboratory facility.
