Our Team Lead is an integral member of the operations team, who is responsible for providing management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met to meet the requirements of the customer. This position is physically demanding and best suited for persons who strive in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift / team operational logistics.
- Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology, and tools to perform their jobs.
- Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e., picking sheets, returns, etc.).
- Supervise forklift drivers and warehouse associates to meet operational needs.
- Execute any other duties as and when identified
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 1 year team lead experience within a warehouse environment with experience on training and coaching
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
- A valid forklift license
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team-oriented workforce
- A working understanding of warehouse management systems
- Proven experience managing personnel to meet operational objectives
- Strong at multitasking and task delegation
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to perform data analysis and reporting using Excel.
