The opportunity:
The University of Manitoba is looking for a Lead Recruitment, Undergraduate & International Programs. This position will lead the intermediate and long-term student recruitment strategy for the Bachelor of Commerce program and any other new micro diplomas and diplomas developed in the future. The Lead, Recruitment will work with other key areas in the School and University to develop and execute this strategy.
The qualifications and experience we’re looking for:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably related to marketing, business, communications, education, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment in professional, post-secondary or related settings, public relations, marketing communication required.
- Experience developing and implementing strategic plans and business plans required.
- Public speaking experience required.
- Experience working with or speaking to high school students and their parents required.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form and maintain strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders at various levels required.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong cultural and EDI awareness skills required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills required.
- Strong diplomacy and political acumen required.
- Strong customer service and customer relationship skills required.
- Strong presentation skills required.- Data analysis and data presentation skill through data visualization is required.
- Ability to plan strategically required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
- Must be willing and able to travel locally and nationally on occasion.
- Must be willing and able to work evening and weekends as required.
