Our legal department is growing and we are seeking (1) permanent full-time Legal Admin/Law Clerk. This is an on-site position, Monday to Friday.
The Role:
The ideal candidate is a graduate of a law clerk or paralegal program with strong attention to detail and has good organizational skills.
The successful candidate should have two years of litigation clerk experience working in an Ontario law firm, working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure, have knowledge of court proceedings, know how to prepare all relevant documents (including but not limited to preparing statements of claims, judgments, filing writs electronically, and issue garnishments), and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
It would be helpful if they had experience in conducting and reviewing title searches and corporate searches.
We are looking for this great candidate to start immediately.
Requirements:
- Graduate of law clerk or paralegal program, or equivalent working experience
