Vista Eyecare has been serving the community for over 40 years. Our local, independently owned and operated clinic is a multi- doctor, full-scope practice that also provides dry eye treatments and low vision services. We pride ourselves on our outgoing, helpful, compassionate, and dynamic team.
We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Optician or Experienced Dispenser to join our clinic. Starting wage is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
- Confidently assisting patients in frame and lens selection
- Verifying several types of lenses for quality and accuracy
- Expertly adjusting, repairing, measuring, and fitting eyewear
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Pre-testing patients before exams
- Processing payments and insurance
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Dispensing contact lenses
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Friendly, outgoing, and works well in a team-based setting
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time-management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Motivated and proactive, with initiative to go above and beyond for our patients
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (37.5hrs/week)
- Closed all stat holidays
- Possible evenings shifts to 6:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
