Optometric Assistant/Technician

Our team is looking to add an awesome, energetic, and outgoing individual to be our new Optometric Assistant/Technician. This individual will be a quick learner, who displays attention to detail, and an ability to work effectively within a team environment. Experience is an asset, but if you are ready and willing to learn, we are willing to train.

Responsibilities include:

• Pretesting patients prior to their eye exam
• Assisting customers to choose frames
• Documenting patient histories
• Maintaining inventory
• Performing administrative and reception duties
• Adjusting/repairing frames and modifying contact lenses

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Optometric/health care clinic experience: 1 year (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
