About the Club and the Food & Beverage Department

The Mad River Golf Club is a highly acclaimed private equity golf club located on Airport Road near the rural community of Creemore, Ontario. Mad River is a different type of golf club. In keeping with the relaxed ambience and lack of pretense our members expect, we govern ourselves by values rather than rules. These values guide all aspects of the Club’s operations.

We are a seasonal club open from Mid April to October offering Food & Beverage options to our Members. We have a moderate clubhouse that seats just over 80 people, a covered patio that seats 50, a grass patio area that seats 40 as well as our Cupp's Corner concession that offers a variety of beverages, snacks and sandwiches for golfers at the turn. We run weekly member events, tournaments and daily specials. We don’t host weddings and only select outside golf events

Job Summary

Preparation of food, stocking prep items, make meals and execute meals in a timely fashion.

Able to lift up to 30 lbs., be on your feet for long periods, navigate stairs. Keep a clean and safe environment.

Work with the Chef and entire Food & Beverage team to create meals and be part of the exceptional experience we provide to our Members.

Key Qualifications

Have worked in a kitchen or catering company

Willing to learn to skills and master current skills

Ability to work unsupervised and follow checklists

Have basic knowledge of Health & Safety

Reliable Transportation (no transit available to the Club)

You have your Food Handler Certification (or willing to take the online course)

SMART SERVE (not necessary but beneficial)

Compensation and other Benefits

$18-$23 per hour plus gratuities. Paid bi-weekly.
