Position:

Cortland has an opening for an Loans Operations Associate in its Toronto, ON office at 200 Bay Street.

Overview:

* Reporting to the Head of Operations and supporting the efforts of the Operations team, the Loan Operations Associate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely operations of Cortland’s loan portfolio. Through maintaining our Loan Management database, Accounts Receivable acquisition database, and Accounts Receivables, Payables, and operations administration.

* The successful candidate must have a strong attention to detail, be well organized, and have the capacity to operate efficiently and personably in a fast-paced environment.

* Must possess a positive attitude, great work-ethic and be highly self-motivated.

Detail focused, this is a role that demands someone with strong analytical skills. The successful candidate must be very comfortable utilizing data and managing databases in Excel.

Major Responsibilities:

· Administering obligations of borrowers

· Reconcile and manage AR acquisitions

· Communicate with borrowers to ensure timely advances

· Identify and address discrepancies

· Maintain internal databases and spreadsheets

Skills & Qualification Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree/diploma in relevant field (Business Administration, Supply Chain & Operations Management, etc.)

· Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills

· Work very well both on their own and in a team environment

Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
