About the Position

Juno is looking for our first Manager of Part-Time Learning! Are you looking to combine your technical experience as a developer with your interest in product ownership and apply both in tech education? Reporting to the VP Product & Operations, you will own the direction and operation of Juno’s part-time programs, including our new Part-Time Web Development Bootcamp for career changers and our popular Part-Time Continuing Education Courses for career accelerators.

Founded in 2012 by Heather Payne, creator of Ladies Learning Code, Juno College of Technology is Canada’s longest-running, award-winning coding bootcamp. Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a part in every aspect of the Part-Time Programs of Juno.

Part-Time Bootcamp Product, Curriculum, and Delivery: Own the ongoing development of Juno’s Part Time Bootcamp, integrating technical best practices and the latest technology advancements.
Continuing Education Product, Curriculum, and Delivery: Drive the evolution of Juno’s Part Time Continuing Education courses, integrating product improvements and student feedback, and even launch brand-new topics.
Part-Time Product Delivery: Work with and lead Juno’s incredible community of part-time instructors to ensure that our courses are taught by the right people for each course. You’ll work closely with our community of instructors to manage each course, train new instructors, help resolve student issues, and more.
Juno Instructor Community: Lead Juno’s incredible community of part-time instructors by recruiting, training, and empowering the best instructors in Canada.
Teaching: Keep your teaching skills sharp by leading at least one Continuing Education course per year and at least two Part-Time Bootcamp modules per year.
Your Experience

Have a strong understanding of modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript features and usage
Be comfortable programming with React or another, similar, front-end framework
Be comfortable using a text editor such as VS Code
Be comfortable using Git and GitHub
Have excellent verbal communication skills
Be collaborative, energetic, and empathetic
Be highly organized
Be curious to grow into product ownership and implement data-driven changes
Be a skilled technical problem solver
Fit one of the following statements from Ontario s.41 of Reg 415/06:
Hold a degree, diploma, or certificate from an Ontario college, university, private career college, or equivalent AND have at least 24 months occupational web development experience, OR
Have at least 36 months of teaching experience, and 24 months occupational web development experience, OR
Have at least 48 months of occupational web development experience

The following would be a bonus:
Management experience
Strong understanding of full-stack web development

Salary: $86,072 - $92,000
4-day work weeks
3 weeks paid annual vacation
Paid end of year closure from December 24th to the New Year
7 paid personal emergency days per year
