WAGE RATE: $65.19/hr - $81.49/hr ($118,645.00 – $148,311.00 annually)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides leadership and oversight in the development and delivery of Strategic Initiatives, including; diversity, equity and inclusion, community-based environmental sustainability, Community Safe and Well Plan as well as other County strategic goals and commitments. Report and monitor on the progress of and alignment with the County’s strategic and emerging priorities. Acts as a strategic advisor to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to support and facilitate advocacy initiatives on matters pertaining to the provincial government, municipal partners and other governments and agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
- Post-secondary education in Public Administration or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated senior level experience leading programs, services or complex projects or initiatives.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Thorough understanding of municipal government structure, programs, services, priorities and issues, stakeholder needs and interests and government, community and business trends and issues.
- Proven ability to develop and articulate a vision to inspire and operationalize its achievement.
- Ability to demonstrate the required competencies for this position in alignment with Oxford County’s competency framework.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver programs, services, and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, lead and empower teams and guide effective project management outcomes.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutes and regulations related to Oxford County’s community sustainability commitments.
