I am looking for a freelance Administrative and Marketing Assistant to help me with a few tasks related to running my acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine practice. At the beginning, ideally the work would be done on Fridays at my home clinic in rural Warkworth (7 minutes drive from downtown Warkworth, 10 min drive from downtown Campbellford). I'm estimating around 4 hours per week on average. After we've gotten into a rhythm, the tasks could be done at home on your own flexible schedule. There's the possibility for more hours in the future, depending how things go.
BASIC TASKS:
- Social media posting (Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business profile)
- Phoning/emailing patients to follow up and book them (I use Jane booking software which is pretty easy to use)
- Mailchimp / Breva & CRM – organizing/tagging contacts on list and helping send out an email newsletter and any clinic announcements
- Using Canva to create graphics for social media, newsletters, business cards, pamphlets, etc.
- Writing – editing (or possibly even writing) engaging newsletter articles, social media posts, blog posts, etc.
- Bookkeeping support: entering expenses into Quickbooks
- Updating practitioner profiles on health insurance websites
EVEN MORE WONDERFUL IF YOU KNOW ABOUT:
- Wordpress – my website is set up, so just editing the content as needed, adding or deleting pages or posts as needed, organizing the blog, etc. Possibly helping me move my old site (paulinehwang.ca) to a new one that I've been designing.
- SEO
- Google Ads, Facebook Ads – set-up, writing, managing, testing, tracking, etc.
- Landing pages – writing and design
- Implementing direct billing at a clinic
- BONUS: Familiarity with complementary and alternative medicine, natural cancer support (nutrition, herbs, supplements, etc.), Traditional Chinese Medicine, and/or translating scientific research into terms the general public can understand, etc.
- BONUS: Familiarity with anti-racism and anti-oppression principles, trauma-informed services and LGBTQ2S-positive.
