About the job:

The Marketing & Public Relations Representative’s function is to effectively promote sales and recruitment interests internally and externally, while maintaining a global corporate brand standard. This will be done on various platforms including live and virtual events, social media and through collaboration with our contracted marketing firm. Some of your responsibilities will include:

MARKETING

• Work with internal departments to understand their marketing, promotional material or event needs. Liaise with contracted marketing firm when required
• Manage and create supplier relationships for print and promotional items
• Create innovative ways to capture audiences and increase brand awareness, follow established standards
• Create social media profiles. Respond and manage all incoming applications/requests following established process maps.
• Build, research and develop target audiences based on current and future needs and leverage these audiences and insights
• Continuously build Levert’s social media networks that meet our target demographics
• Measure effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust plans and tactics based on collected metrics
• Work with management and marketing consultant to develop and execute annual and quarterly marketing and strategic plans to meet business goal, while tracking marketing budgets
• Collaborate with senior management to gain market and service insights and to secure approvals

PUBLIC RELATIONS

• Involved in the planning, execution, promotion and attendance at events such as tradeshows, hiring events, networking opportunities, speaking engagements, sponsorship opportunities, scholastic events and more
• Maintain and foster strong partnerships with scholastic institutes, employment help centers, government funded centers, and Indigenous communities, hotels and event centers.
• Monitor and ensure Levert maintains a steady stream of positive social interactions
• Work closely and build strong relationships with key stakeholders

OTHER DUTIES

• Generate purchase order requests for marketing, advertising and Public Relations related costs
• Work with all other departments to ensure each staff member accurately represents a cohesive brand
• Make website change suggestions
• Manage promotional material inventory and requests from staff
• Proof read print and digital material prior to distribution (ie. Powerpoint, etc) ensuring brand standards are met
• Submit resumes to administration, collaborate with the recruiting department and administrative teams to build resume database

What you need:

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration
• 2+ years of experience in a marketing or Public Relations role
• Must be bilingual (French and English)
• Strong social media skillset
• Proven experience coordinating promotional and networking event
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating with internal teams, clients, vendors, business professionals, senior management and executives
