SalaryWe are looking to fill the position of a Medical Assistant at our busy walk-in clinic.
Duties and responsibilities are included but not limited to:
- Must have sound judgement skills, analytical approach for patient related reporting purposes.
- Must have the ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Administer accurately intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as delegated by a licensed Physician, and related monitoring of ECG’s.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Clinical setting is an asset.
- Valid and up-to-date CPR or HCP certification. (preferred)
- Sound computer and documentation (manual/computer-based) skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, must have patient/client centred approach and able to empathize.
- Basic medical terminology.
IMGs will be required to commute to and work at both our clinic locations at Morningside and Markham.
