National Account Manager - Food Industry (Remote)

We are seeking a National Account Manager to drive the growth of Canada's fastest-growing pretzel brand.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all retail Key Accounts & Distributors
• Trade Spend Management & Analysis
• Active P&L Management: ensuring sales, profit and net revenue targets are met
• Analyze customer data, identify trends and insights, and develop strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Forecast management – responsible for keeping all stakeholders up to date with forecast changes and holding customers accountable to commitments
• Collaborate with internal business partners and implement strategies to increase customer loyalty and market share goals
• Monitor competitor activity and develop strategies to maintain competitive advantage
• Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to reach key accounts

Required Knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience in the Food Industry, preferably with a focus on salty snacks
• Majority of experience in C&G (Convenience & Gas)
• Strong understanding of retail Key Accounts & Distributors
• Trade Spend Management experience
• Proficient in P&L Management
• Analytical skills to interpret data and make strategic decisions
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth
• Go-getter personality, willingness to take the initiative, make suggestions, and implement them
• Strong computer application skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to work in a digital work environment
• Ability to travel, as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
