The Manager, People Experience and Talent Services is currently seeking an Organizational Development & Education Coordinator. This position provides support in the achievement of Waypoint’s strategic goals and People plan through the provision of evidence-based OD and learning initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
**This position’s primary responsibility will be coordinating and facilitating Waypoint’s staff orientation program.**
- Coordinate Waypoint’s staff orientation program: assess employee orientation needs; complete orientation registration/assignments; communicate with new hires, managers and orientation leaders; facilitate general orientation components in-classroom; collaborate with Practice & Clinical Performance; and arrange new hire assets.
- Apply established learning theory to develop and deliver a diverse range of learning initiatives, (electronic and classroom). Activities include needs analysis, learning objective development, curricula development, creation of original learning materials, testing, delivery and evaluation
- Coordinate mandatory hospital training; maintain a database of relevant information to track organizational training compliance, develop training schedules and compile accurate timely reports
- Administer Waypoint’s eLearning platform including: develop and maintain annual eLearning calendar, adding SCORM content to system, module assignments, report building and distribution, system changes and upgrades as well as troubleshooting
- Apply intermediate facilitation skills to engage staff teams in the areas of: resolving conflict, effective communication, managing change, team building, conduct specific assessments e.g. MBTI
- Partner with Divisional HR/Talent Consultants to analyze corporate HR data, identify performance gaps and make recommendations for remedial action related to learning and development
- In response to identified needs, research external consultation services and make recommendations for service delivery.
- Provide input into applicable policy review and development processes
- Participate in hospital-wide projects, teams and committees, as assigned
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as human resources, business, healthcare/public administration, communication, social sciences or arts
- Additional recognized, professional education in a related field such as: adult learning, advanced facilitation, change management (Proc Sci certification), organizational effectiveness, project management
- Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in human resources, talent management and/or organizational development setting.
- Advanced Facilitation and presentation skills to deliver and develop targeted learning events, engage groups and impart information.
- Proven analytical skills to analyze data, problem solve and make recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support all types of learners and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management and planning skills to support a range of organizational development initiatives.
- Advanced interpersonal skills to work effectively in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to promote an inclusive environment and integrate differences
- Ability to multi-task and adjust to shifting priorities with ease and resiliency
- Results oriented work ethic to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and deliver quality, consistent and timely results

- Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills
