About The Role:
We are expanding our packaging team to support our current expansion and looking for hard working and dedicated individuals to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the packaging operator on the canning line to ensure products are packaged properly for shipping, filling kegs and cleaning as well as occasionally helping out with general labour in other departments such as brewing / production.
The role is a permanent, part-time position 20-30 hours per week with flexible working hours Monday to Friday and may be asked to work weekends and must be available for evening shifts.
About You:
- Work great in a team environment
- Results-oriented
- Able to communicate effectively and problem solve on-the-fly
- Can lift and carry short distances up to 150 pounds (equivalent of a 58L Keg)
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure packaging area, cellar and brite room are kept clean and tidy
- Prepare packaging materials for canning and kegging while maintaining the area organized
- Keg and can finished beer per product requirements
- Prepare packaging for shipping and support distribution team with loading
- Identify and raise up opportunities for improvements and efficiency gains
- Opportunity to learn to use and clean the canning line
- Keep knowledge of company and customer products current
Qualifications
- Relevant experience preferred but not required
- Interest in beer, a bonus!
