Our client, has an immediate requirement for an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join their successful dealership located in Northwest GTA
In this key role, managing a parts team of four, you will lead all aspects of an efficient and profitable Parts Department, employing proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, pricing and marketing.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that parts sales targets are met. Coordinate parts of marketing efforts
- Maintain tight inventory control to ensure consistent delivery of parts while minimizing obsolescence.
- Balance inventory to meet the requirements of the Service Department, wholesale accounts and over-the-counter sales.
- Understand and comply with all manufacturers’ warranty ordering and return policies.
- Forecast and track monthly sales and profit objectives. Compile and analyze monthly management reports.
- Responsible for the profitability of the Department by revenue generation and cost control
- Hire, train, motivate, coach and monitor the performance of all Parts Department staff.
- Keep up to date by completing all training within the manufacturer’s prescribed guidelines and ensuring the same for all staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager.
- College Diploma in Inventory Management, Business Management or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies, or equivalent related experience.
- Technologically savvy with PC-based software, and strong proficiency in Dealer Management systems. Candidates with CDK experience are preferred but not essential.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team to achieve results.
- Able to work as part of a results-oriented and customer-focused team.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, technical & mechanical repairs, product
- Valid Driver’s License
