PAYROLL CLERK – DOWNTOWN EDMONTON, AB
We are pleased to partner with our client, an industry leading property management company in their search for a skilled payroll clerk to join their team on a 1-month temporary contract. This position is in Downtown Edmonton, AB and is available to start immediately!
The Opportunity
The primary function of this position is to provide support for the Payroll Manager. This role requires experience with Dayforce. This is a Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm shift. Free parking is provided!
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for salary/hourly employees.
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries from employees.
- Review and reconcile timesheets and prepare for payroll review.
- Calculate and verify earnings and process appropriate deductions and withholdings.
- Process new hires, salary changes, address changes, and termination payments.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Grade 12 Diploma.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certification.
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience.
- General accounting knowledge required.
- Experience running payrolls for 150+ employees.
- Ceridian Dayforce experience is required.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
- Excellent internal customer service skills.
- Ability to work with a high volume of confidential and sensitive information.

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay rate will be based on experience.
