Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Payroll and A/R Clerk. This position offers an opportunity to work with various payroll systems and gain valuable experience in the field of human resources, along with Accounts Receivables.
Duties:
- Gather and prepare monthly A/R invoices
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
- Maintain employee/AR records and ensure data accuracy
- Calculate and process employee hours, wages, and deductions
- Collaborate with Director to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Generate payroll reports for management review
- Assist with year-end payroll processes
Skills:
- Knowledge in Sage 50 Canada software an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Accounting courses needed

Salary: Starting at $18/hr based on experience
