Samy's Drug Mart is a patient centered pharmacy located in Hamilton Ontario. Offering services including but not limited to, compounding, methadone/suboxone, compliance package and medication review. Duties include:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription information into computer systems
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills

- Kroll software knowledge is essential for this roll.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
- Experience with medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software systems

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. Your duties will include assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, preparing prescriptions, and maintaining inventory. You will also have the opportunity to interact with patients and healthcare professionals, providing exceptional customer service.

To excel in this role, you should have knowledge of pharmacy operations, experience with medication administration, and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with patients and healthcare professionals. Salary: $16.00-$24.00 per hour
