About The Position:
Pharmacity Drugstore #3 is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our Team.
We are looking for a person that has intermediate to advanced experience with using technological platforms. You will have the training and knowledge to operate multiple software's.
We are looking for an organized person with high attention to detail. As the point of contact for our Partner Vendor, you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication to communicate with Clients of the Vendor. As the point of contact, you will be responsible to resolve issues in a prompt time.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the successful candidate must be able to display strong initiative and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of College of Pharmacists bylaws and regulations
- Processing, preparing and compounding prescriptions
- Answering calls and providing support to customers
- Identifying patients in need of improved medication adherence
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to track and monitor patient records
- Being efficient and knowledgeable with all aspects of WinRx (data entry, billing, report generating, troubleshooting)
- Assisting with all other Pharmacy Assistant duties as per Pharmacy Manager or Owner(s)

- Interpersonal and relationship skills that are customer oriented
- A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Being flexible and adaptable to changes
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical math
- Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to shift priorities working within established timelines
- Demonstrates initiative (learn processes and procedures, various benefits) and displays self-motivation to grasp new concepts quickly
- Being accurate in data entry
Requirements:
- An accredited Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant program is preferred
- 1+ year of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and training with Pharmaceutical Software's
