Pharmacy Assistant

Remedy’s Rx is welcoming applications for a positive and enthusiastic Full time Pharmacy Assistantlooking for the opportunity to join the established pharmacy team in Almonte, ON.

Job Description :

• Assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
• Patient greeting and data entry of patient information.
• Prescription order entry and Third party adjudication
• Maintenance of pharmacy inventories, through the ordering, receiving, and rotating of stock and supplies.
• Blister packaging.
• Handling customer prescription pick up.
• Assist in the preparation of prescriptions.
• Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:

• Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy .
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Education and Experience:

• Pharmacy Assistant experience in prescription processing and third party adjudication is required
• Experience with Kroll is an asset.
• Experience with blister pack processing and management is a strong asset.
