Plant Operator

This is a Wash Plant Operator Position (work outdoors)

Minimum Requirements

• Experience monitoring industrial plant equipment
• Mechanical Inclination
• Heavy Equipment Operation
• Wash Plant Experience an Asset

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring all equipment in the wash plant to ensure it is working efficiently and making a note of any maintenance needs as required
• Making daily adjustments to the plant as needed
• Perform Routine Daily Maintenance (ie belts, flashing, screens, lubricating)
• Adjusting the feed rate of the plant and monitoring quality
• Working with Lafarge personnel to ensure quality specifications are being met
• Ensuring that the plant and personnel meet all Company, Customer and Ministry regulations and guidelines
• Communicating on an on-going basis with the Site Foreman about the status of the plant and keeping them informed of any changes that could impact production output, plant maintenance, safety or quality.

Contract length: 10 months

Salary: $22.00-$24.47 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week

• Class G Licence (preferred)
