Islanders' Choice Painting, the top rated painting company in Victoria, is hiring a detail oriented and organized Production Assistant/Pressure Washer to support our team with logistics and pre-paint pressure washing.

ABOUT THE POSITION - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Assistant/Pressure Washer will work closely with our production team, providing support in the following areas:

Production Support:

• Ordering, picking up, and delivering materials to our work sites.
• Transporting equipment to and from our work sites.
• Assisting with project close down procedures:
• Completing checklists
• Final clean up of work sites
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Other support work as required

Pressure Washing/Cleaning:

• Completing all pre-paint washes for our exterior projects.

WERE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO POSSESS SOME OF THE FOLLOWING TRAITS (NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY):

• You have a great attitude - we have a positive working culture (no negative Nellys are tolerated here!)
• You are a strong communicator and are passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• You are organized, detail oriented, and enjoy following policies and procedures - the successful candidate will be required to follow procedures, use software, and plan their time effectively.
• You take complete ownership of your role in both success and failure.
• You are physically fit, capable of using/moving ladders and lifting heavy equipment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a drivers license and clean driving abstract (a company vehicle will be provided).
• Must have working cell phone with data.

BONUS SKILLS

• You have experience working on ladders and are comfortable working at heights.
• You have experience doing exterior maintenance - pressure washing, painting, et cetera.
• Previous experience overseeing projects - managing people, resources, scheduling et cetera.
