- Proactively partners with Project Scheduling Team, Project Managers, Engineers, Field Execution Planners to perform project analysis and support project schedules from initiation to close out
- Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules to satisfy deliverables, time restraints and customer expectation; communicate schedule commitments, and resource allocation
- Initiate, anticipate, and monitor project changes, contributing to the analysis and providing support to Project Scheduling team and Project Manager for reporting.
- Identify, initiate, and participate in the development of process improvements that provide additional value to Projects.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of project scheduling tools and templates, standards, procedures, and work instructions.
- Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and reports
- Manage the weekly schedule working proactively with the Project Team to identify issues affecting Project timelines
- Proactively partners with Project Managers and other project team members to perform project schedule analysis and support for projects from initiation to close out.
- Performs regular review and analysis of project data including actual and forecast project schedule against baseline. Measures schedule performance and progress against forecasts, contributing to the analysis and explanation of variances
- Initiate, anticipate and monitor project change notices (PCNs) providing analytical support to Project Manager for reporting and applying required changes
- University degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management with 2 years’ experience or Diploma in Engineering, Business, Construction Management with 4 years of progressive experience related to project management or data analysis
- PMI member - Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset
- Previous project coordination and scheduling related experience required; candidate should be familiar with or be willing to learn key Scheduling principles and associated supporting systems and tools.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in Primavera (P6), Maximo, PowerBI, and SharePoint would be considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of project management, process management, engineering, and construction practices.
- Ability to show initiative, work independently and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure are essential
- Detail-oriented and demonstrated competency in analysis, process improvement and problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to easily communicate complex technical information to different audiences
- Demonstrates curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement
