5-10 years of progressive experience, with at least 3 as a Project Controller
Experience analyzing project data and generating reports in Excel, to communicate financial performance
IT project experience with upgrades/integrations (Maximo pref)
Strong financial acumen - ability to understand complex financials and relay information to IT and operations teams
Experience working on multiple projects of different size/scope (up to 15M, 5 projects at once)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience communicating upward to C-suite executives
Maximo project experience
Oracle and Dynamics AX financial system experience
Oil/gas experience
PM software experience - Primavera, MS Project

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controller to join one of Calgary's largest midstream oil/gas companies for a 12-month contract (w/ extensions). This person work closely with Program and Project Managers to support multiple IT upgrade and integration projects. The candidate must have strong financial acumen, with the ability to communicate complex financials to different areas of the business. The primary project will be a multi-year Maximo upgrade and integration project, but this person will eventually support an additional 5 smaller projects. The ideal candidate will sit in Calgary, AB and go into office 3x/week (can opt for condensed work schedule).

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
