Who are we?
WAAS Aerospace Inc. has been in operation since 2014 and is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO). We operate from facilities located on the south shore of Montreal at St. Hubert Airport (CYHU) and in Quebec City at Jean Lesage International Airport (CYQB).
We provide line and scheduled maintenance, avionics modifications and research and development services for business and large aircraft. We offer 24/7 AOG services to help customers meet their on-time departure obligations and minimize their downtime.
Our parent company, Chrono Aviation, was founded in Quebec City in 2012. At the beginning, the company operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Today, Chrono Aviation Group has a fleet of 14 aircraft and a team of 280 employees
Role and context
Under the direction of the Vice President, our Project Manager is responsible for the direction, planning, coordination, resource allocation, budgeting, implementation, progress and completion, while ensuring communication and stakeholder alignment throughout the project life cycle.
Key responsibilities
•Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
•Leading the initiation and planning of a project and ensuring its technical feasibility
•Supervise all technical aspects of the project, including budget monitoring
•Identify and ensure that the necessary technical project resources and materials (including those from third party suppliers) are available and allocated
•Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress and results of the project
•Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
•Report to stakeholders on progress, problems and solutions.
•Conduct a risk management analysis to reduce project risks

•Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)

•Project planning, risk mitigation, time management and other project management skills.

Specific job requirements
•Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field
•Project management qualification (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent experience as a Project manager.
•Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation or a related high technology environment.
•Languages: English and French
