Position Overview:
You will interact with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to manage and coordinate projects for customers and iSpice brands.
You will also develop and implement new processes and tools to support our project management and operational activities.
And you will organize and manage trade shows and events as well as other Marketing-related activities.
Main Responsibilities:
· As new products are approved, projects will be assigned to the Project Manager to manage through the process and ensuring that all criteria are met before advancing through each stage-gate.
· Assess and prioritize process/project opportunities, identify gaps and manage them from beginning through to completion.
· Managed various complex projects from concept to launch and evaluation.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams for technological improvements and process optimization.
· Document critical paths for all projects to identify and manage project risks.
- Utilize the available project management tools to ensure consistent sustainable processes.
- Create and keep dashboards and other tools up to provide visibility to all project stakeholders.
- Consolidate master data required for all product launches and feed that information to the relevant stakeholders and into the relevant systems.
- When challenges are encountered, escalate issues through established channels to avoid unexpected delays or failures.
- Support project and tasks prioritization by flagging issues to stakeholders.
- Coordinate all necessary resources to ensure timely deliver of projects - be solutions-oriented to resolve any and all issues which may impact the successful and timely completion of customer and internal projects.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their expectations are effectively managed.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
- Organize and conduct regular project meetings to review progress, identify issues, and inform.
· Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
· Oversee planning and execution of trade show and events participation.
· Assist in the preparation of labels, brochures, reports, and other Marketing material.
Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:
- University diploma
- Fluent English (oral and written) and functional French.
- 5+ years experience in a program/project management capacity in the food industry.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast paced food manufacturing environment.
- PMP is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to operate strategically and/or operationally, as the situation requires.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify potential hurdles and mitigate before they arise.
- Creative problem-solving skills and innovation skills to achieve business objectives.
- Experience managing multiple projects involving multi-disciplinary teams operating in a fast-paced, innovation driven environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Team player who can challenge and inspire their team to drive towards project management and customer service excellence.
- A vibrant individual, who is capable of quick decision-making, with the confidence and drive to make a positive difference to their work environment.
- Good computer literacy skills, ability to utilize Word, Excel and PowerPoint to a high standard.
- Aptitude and enthusiasm for learning and teaching
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
- Entry level knowledge in Spices, Herbs and Seasonings.
- High attention to detail, good communicator, and good time management skills.
- Customer facing and event management experience will be highly regarded.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$83,055.41 per year
